Here's the recipe:
(If you are looking for low fat, pass on by... nothing to see here.)
Hot Mushroom Dip/Spread
4 slices of bacon, diced (I've gone to using the Real Bacon Pieces in a pouch- Quick and not so messy!)
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped finely
1 clove garlic
2 T. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
Cook bacon until crisp, drain all but 2 T. of drippings to saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in until tender. (Or, just saute in a little olive oil and dump in the easy bacon pieces at the end)
Add flour, salt and pepper, cook and stir for a minute until thickened.
Reduce heat, Add cream cheese, sour cream, and both sauces. Cook on Med low until cheese is melted.
Stir in bacon and serve warm with *Wheat Thins* or veggies.
YUM.
And you've gotta love this packaging, right TA? My favorite words... combined with mushrooms! Heavenly!

Okay... now I'm craving this. And everytime I see that wrapper I think of you and chuckle.

Mom and I are going to go to the store today and get all the ingredients so we can make this when you come out to Wydaho! 4 days over due and still no baby Dahl...maybe this dip would help?
